At $22.00/hr, time-and-a-half means an OT rate of 22 × 1.5 = $33.00/hr.
- 40 regular hours → 40 × 22 = $880.00
- 8 OT hours → 8 × 33 = $264.00
- Weekly gross → $1,144.00
- Effective rate → 1144 ÷ 48 ≈ $23.83/hr
